NETS in Ancient Rome

Using Final Cut Pro to make videos and youtube to upload a quick film scene is a great way to engage students to creativity and incorporates NETS into a lesson. For example, I am doing a lessson on the fall of the Roman Republic. I want the studnets in groups of four, to decide to rollplay potential scenes from Casaer crossing the Rubicon and returning to Rome. Students can then watch themselves and compare their pieces with each other in front of the class.
